An interview with Georgina
Your passion for singing, was it from an early age?
Yes I have always loved singing ever since I was a little girl of three years of age. Later as I got older I studied singing and completed a Diploma from Trinity College London. In 2009 I established my business as a Wedding Vocalist and released my first album "The Essential Wedding Collection."
What singers have inspired you throughout your journey?
One particular singer that has inspired me the most is the brilliant soprano Sarah Brightman. Similarly Haley Westenra, Josh Groban and Aled Jones.
Is it difficult to break into this industry, particularly in Australia?
Yes it is difficult to get into the music industry whether it is in Australia or overseas. However one must always try and not give up.
How is your talent perceived in Australia?
My fans in Australia and overseas, enjoy my style of singing and repertoire. I continually receive praise, encouraging comments and positive feedback.
What is your view on your journey?
Although it has taken me some time to get to this point in my journey, I believe that it was worth all the wait. There is nothing more rewarding than listening to fans comment on the effect that my voice has had on their lives.
Your next project/concerts?
I have few weddings coming up this year in 2010. Also I will be exhibiting in several wedding expos around Sydney.
What do you hope for the future?
I would like more listeners to discover and enjoy my album "The Essential Wedding Collection" and for it to become popular in Australia and overseas.
